@sumeriantombs haben erst im vergangenen Jahr ihr zweites Album „Age of Eternal Night“ über niemand geringeres als @vanrecords veröffentlich und damit eine Macht aus rasender Aggression, einprägsamen Melodien und tiefgründigen, mythologischen Erzählungen entfesselt.
@sumeriantombs beschreiben ihren Sound als „Epic Vampyric Black Metal“. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Bands, die sich mit Vampir-Themen beschäftigen, verfolgen @sumeriantombs einen eher alten und ursprünglichen Ansatz und lassen sich von den Edimmu und Ekimmu inspirieren, vampirischen Windgeistern aus der mesopotamischen Mythologie – weit entfernt vom romantisierten Vampirbild, das man oft im Gothic- oder Symphonic-Metal findet.

@sumeriantombs released their second album, „Age of Eternal Night,“ only last year on none other than @vanrecords, unleashing a force of raging aggression, memorable melodies, and profound mythological narratives.
@sumeriantombs describe their sound as Epic Vampyric Black Metal. Unlike many bands associated with vampiric themes, @sumeriantombs take a more ancient and primal approach, drawing inspiration from the Edimmu and Ekimmu, vampyric wind spirits from Mesopotamian mythology—far removed from the romanticized vampire imagery often found in gothic or symphonic metal.
